Do you have special prices for profesionals, luthiers or shops?

We currently offer discounts on volume (in some items) and also free shipping charges if you reach a minimum order quantity (inside the EU). I'm afraid that because most of our customers are professionals, luthiers or shops our published prices are final prices so we do nor apply extra discounts on them (unless you are planning to order a big amount quantity in some specific items, in that case we can study your proposal) better write us in that case.

Are the fret sets already curved at radius?

Our fretwire sets are always precurved at a bigger radius than the normal use in a fretboard. The way to proceed with their installation is to put the fret over the slot in the fretboard and then with a fret hammer or a fret press force the pre-curved fret to fit in the slot at the proper radius. They never come with the same radius than the fretboard at their first step.

I don't like the  grain of the fretboard that I've recevied, what can I do?

All our fretboards are made on demand so as you sholuld understand wood grain is impredecible and of course it's a matter of taste, some wood pieces have big differences between them, even in the same wood category differences are quite big. Keeping that in mind if you are not happy with the piece that you've received and because we want you to be happy we will replace it but you must borne all shipping charges (the returning and the new one) So please if you have any special preference tell us in advance.

At any case please write us first and we will study your case.

I´ve received my piece of wood (fretboard, neck or body blank or top) and it seems to be curved, what can I do?

As you should know wood is always an alive product, so it's quite prone to have some deformations because of severe changes in moisture or temperature. Here at our warehouse all our wood stock is stored in a controlled temperature and moisture area, and we do not sell wood that is not previously dried to about 8 or 12% moisture grade (this is the ideal grade for musical instrument making and also for wood working). So if you have noticed some deformation in the wood that you´ve received of course as you will understand we can not be responsible of that in any case, wood is wood. Anyone who usually works with wood should know about this. This is more notable in places with high grade of moisture.

If this is your case our advise is to keep the wood again in a flat surface and in a well controlled moisture and temperature place and of course keep it far from the direct sun light. Leave it there for a few days and you will see that the wood returns to their original state.
